Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson - born Jacqueline Luesby to Chris Watson and Jacqueline Luesby, two British lawyers, was born on the 8th of July, 1989 in Paris. As a young girl of just five years old and moved to Oxfordshire and enrolled at her first Dragon School. Emma was six years old when she made the decision to become an actress. She was trained for many years in Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a part time theatre school in Oxford where she studied acting as well as singing. By the time she turned 10, she had already taken part in numerous Stagecoach productions and plays. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the 2001 adaptation from J.K. Rowling's bestselling British book began in 1999. Casting agents found Emma through her Oxford theater teacher. David Heyman informed Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint following auditions for 8 times. They were selected as three leads Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. The release of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) was Emma's cinematic screen debut. It was the highest-grossing film of 2001, the film set records for its debut day opening and its opening weekend earnings. Reviewers have been highly lauding the film and the performances by the three principal young actors. The Daily Telegraph praised Emma for her performance. Emma got five nominations in recognition of her exceptional performance. Later, she won the Young Artist Award in Leading Young Actress of a Film.
